What is an epoxy resin table?
An epoxy resin table is any table top, countertop or surface that has been coated with epoxy resin. Most are coated with clear epoxy to protect and show off the wood, but epoxy can also be tinted with colorants for vivid colors and patterns.

How much epoxy do I need for a table top?
Epoxy table tops are usually done in two stages: a seal coat followed by a flood coat.
per gallon: seal coat
A thin coat brushed on to seal porous wood, so air bubbles don't rise into the flood coat and the flood coat bonds cleanly.
per gallon: flood coat at 1/8 inch
The main pour. It self levels across your table, you remove any air bubbles, and it cures to a glass like finish.
What kind of epoxy do I need for a table?
