I couldn’t be happier with this epoxy resin! It was easy to work with, had a smooth consistency, and cured beautifully crystal clear. There were minimal bubbles, and any that did appear were easy to remove with a heat gun. It set exactly as described and gave my project a professional finish. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, this resin is a joy to use. I’ll definitely be buying more!
Bought some Ultra clear epoxy to make a river table but first I practiced on some smaller pieces Ultra clear did not let me down
This is the only epoxy I use, I make wood tables with different color resins. I have tried different epoxies in the past, this one is the best.
Good stuff! Trying out a few of these resin companies..
I absolutely love Ultra Clear's resins and pigments. I primarily use the Art & Craft resin. It has a long work time, which allows bubbles to release and affords me more flexibility in being creative! It suspends glitter perfectly and cures enough for me to de-mold in less than a day! Also, unlike many other resins, there is virtually no odor with Ultra Clear's epoxies.
The pigments are amazing too! They are vibrant and mix beautifully into the resin with no clumps! The mega pack came with more colors than I know what to do with. It has neon, glow, and glitter jars on top of a multitude of standard colors.
I have so many great things to say. On top of all of that, it's made in the US and shipping is super quick!
Great customer Service fast shipping excelent product.
I purchased the deep pour and table top epoxy. I had incredible results with both products. I used the deep pour to encase things in epoxy. It worked out great with no issues. The table top epoxy applies so easily, has very little drops on bottom edge and levels off at a perfect thickness. Very impressed with both epoxied overall.
This was my first attempt at an epoxy table. I chose an oak cookie that had been curing for over a year.
Mistake 1 - No moisture meter. The cookie had to high of moisture content which almost killed the project. Major cupping, warping, re-planning and such. Pentacryl helped but should have been applied months prior. Because of this, the table ended up up about 1.25: thick instead of 2"
Mistake 2 - using blue painters tape and metal duct tape to create the dam a the large gap. The epoxy softened the tapes adhesive leading to a mad scramble to save the pour. I was able to staple shims against the tape cams which saved the day
Mistake 3 - Did not realize how much liquid pigment was needed to make a solid color. All good though...I decided to show off the river rock instead of hiding them
mistake 4 - not placing plastic under the pour area. Never will do that again! Almost ruined the table and my workbench. Lol
Inspite of all the mistakes and challenges, I am very pleased with how this turned out!
Notes:
1 - use pentacryl to seal cookies - (all end grain)
2 - sealcoated all with bar top epoxy - I placed the epoxy in hot water to warm it up prior to mixing. That worked well
3 - used deep poor epoxy to fill the large gaps
4- river rocks - great fillers as they do no not have pours. Very little bubbling from them
5- liquid pigment - used probably 20 drops each of black, teal, and blue
6 - finish - sanded to 220 grit and applied Odies Oil - Love the finish!
7 - legs - black walnut fastened with 6 threaded inserts and 1/4 20 bolts.
8- remove all bark!
9 - bowties - Not a fan of traditional bowties so I came up with "fang like" black walnut ones. By the time I finished flattening the cupped tops...only 1/8" was left! They were 3/4" when I started
10- not shown, but I inlayed a large rectangle piece of 1/2" oak under the large cracks on the bottom of the table. This not only helped stabilize the gaps, but also created a "floor" which held the epoxy well.
Hello my name is Suzanne from suzie_qs_cups IG and I have been working with resins for 6 years now and have tried many other epoxies, Ultra Clear Epoxy is by far the best I have ever used. It is easy to mix and apply. The finish is like none other that I have tried. Clear smooth and looks like Glass. I highly recommend that you try their Epoxy. I know you will be amazed.
Happy Resin
Suzanne
This stuff is easy to use, looks and flows great, makes my project pop. four layers over barn wood with a Lexan logo which will be lite from below.
Arrived really fast and I can’t wait to start creating with this epoxy. First time using and the quality looks amazing! So clear and customer service is friendly 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Used the ultra clear and mixed it with glow in the dark pigment. Worked great for what we were doing.
So I work with real flowers I put them in a mold so I have to make sure the epoxy gets in all the cracks and crevices. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to pop the bubbles that were in between the flowers, but they ended up self popping pretty nicely. I used a heat gun a little bit, and after that it all became crystal clear and the caring time is a lot faster than all the other proxies I’ve worked with which is nice but also this product is less expensive than others which is also really really nice!
Ultra Clear Epoxy has completely transformed my workflow. The clarity is crystal clear—no yellowing, no bubbles, just a flawless glass-like finish every single time. I’ve used it for my floral tables and decor pieces, and the results are consistently professional-grade.
What makes it even better? It’s made in the USA, and as a small business owner myself, I’m proud to support other local, American-made products. The quality, reliability, and customer service are unmatched.
If you’re serious about your craft and want a product that delivers every time, Ultra Clear Epoxy is it. 100% recommend!
This stuff works beautifully and enhances all of my painted rocks. Thank you for your product.
I’ve been working with epoxy now for a few years and this is by far my favorite! I just love how crystal clear the finish is and it’s so easy to work with. I usually get a work time of 30-40 minutes which is perfect for my projects. I also have found this is super heavy duty and seems to really hold up nice. And seems to be scratch resistant which I love! I’m going on my third order of this product and I just love using it to create!
So far I’ve been loving these pigments. You were don’t need much to even get the desired color. I’ve only been using a few so far but I love how vibrant they are. I used the teal and blue in this piece. Gives that great opaque look 😊
This epoxy is easy to work with. I poured several test pieces and they all cured perfectly clear with no swirls. I’ll be letting them sit to see how well they age
I’m ordering more for a future projects! I love the self leveling and hardness of finished product! The high gloss really intensifies finished product. I’ve been ordering from a different company since 2019. Not any more! These products are the real deal!
The epoxy tabletop resin and hardner are great products. The white dye isn’t a solids additive, which produced a transparent color. A cloudy white instead of a solids. Note to future customers: Tabletop resin and hardner produces excellent solid colors when mixed with a urethane acrylic paint. I mean amazing!!!
