A fellow woodworker recommended your epoxy tape and man I'm glad he did. This stuff sticks really well. No more stressful, messy leaks to address. Two thumbs up.
Tried multiple coats of polyurethane and it failed to protect the wood. I then decided to give Ultra Clear Epoxy a go. The table became warped and a touch un-level due to the polyurethane failure. So, I applied a seal coat, then built a dam, and made a pour of Epoxy. The results have led me to prepare to do another table very soon! Maybe more in the future, easy and beautiful finish.
An amazing product with a beautiful clear finish! Will definitely be using for future projects!
I've done a few epoxy projects and this product is the very best! Super easy to work with. I've used it on counter tops, buffet tops, and it is tough, durable and super clear. Provides a mirror-like final product. LOVE IT. Fabulous product and well worth the cost.
Been working wit it for the pass 2 months so far so good👍🏻 time will tell if it stays clear
Great product but I wish they didn’t recommend using a full quart to seal coat. I mixed the entire quart but only needed about a half pint to seal coat. I was overzealous and decided to go forward with the pour so I w out of not waste the product. 1 quart was more than enough to complete my project but I had the bubbles popping up from the knots Im the wood and held the heat gun way to close and moved way to slow and causes foggy patches on the knots. I just stopped when I noticed the fog and let it cure for over 72hours and began sanding the foggy spots and bubbles. I plant to order more epoxy and repour after mixing a small amount and seal coating correctly. This stuff dries clear as glass and I may not even wet sand and buff if the 2nd round goes well. I would like to see more explanations on the site to help others not waste product on small projects. I used the FAQ section and the best advice I read was to mix the entire quart which was way too much. I can’t wait to get this finished and installed in my bar. I am buying a gallon this time because I want to do more projects. The directions are clear and I did not follow them, so I got what I deserved. My recommendation is to mix smaller batches for seal coating and if you use the included heat gun, to move fast and stay far away from the workpiece to keep from scorching the epoxy. I am sharing the round 1 photo and will submit a final once it is complete
Easy to use , and the results are amazing
Totally transformed our outdoor space !!!
Very pleased with ultra clear epoxy. I have used others and ultra clear was the best. Easy to work with
Let me say I use every kind of epoxy and pigment and have tried everything under the sun. Ultra clear epoxy is amazing and I use it for all of my beach epoxy resin work. We even use it for our tables and other resin work. It never disappoints.
Used the Ultra clear epoxy system for the first time ever, attempting a project like this with wood.
It turned out better than expected for a first try.
My son tried to pour these 3 skulls for his first try. They came out perfectly hard to his surprise.
Have an barnwood table top dated from wood from 1915 Montana for over 30 years. It was time to refinish the top, and finally close the extensive open grain to make it better from a food safety standpoint.
Chose UltraClear Epoxy as I really like the professional look it gives.
It was a lot easier to work with than I imagined. The island top came out exquisite, even better than I thought it would turn out.
So happy with Ultra Clear Epoxy bar top resin o used for my hibachi table surround for a client. Beautiful clear finish and so easy to mix and pour. Third project I've used this on but this is the biggest for now. I will be pouring two large outdoor countertops for this same client next. Thank you for this product and shipping it to me within days.
I absolutely love the bar top epoxy, it does exactly what I want it to do, I’ve been using epoxy for 20+ years, this is the best.
The best Epoxy I have used thus far for my artwork. So happy to have an Epoxy Resin that all I need is one application of it and my painting comes out fabulous!
