Purchased the tape , Great idea ! Then proceeded to do my own thing , not exactly such a great idea. Had a recess to fill in a cheese board , soooo, it an act of shear brilliance I surrounded it with the tape directly on my finished board. My thinking at the time , any over pour would go on the tape & I’d just peal it off. Ya guess again Sherlock , this stuff is a beast to remove& then had to refinish the board !
