How to use UltraClear Epoxy.
No experience needed.
One of the best parts about our tabletop epoxy is that it is very easy to work with. No experience needed. Even if you have never worked with epoxy before, you can watch our tutorial videos, follow the instructions given in our how-to guides and complete your project successfully.
Step 1: Measure Epoxy
UltraClear Bar Top and Table Epoxy is a two-part epoxy coating with a one to one ratio. Pour an equal amount of hardener and resin into a new container.
Step 2: Mix Epoxy
Mix the epoxy thoroughly to ensure that the batch is completely blended. Our Basic Toolkit includes a mixer for blending epoxy thoroughly.
Step 3: Pour Epoxy
Pour the epoxy onto your surface. UltraClear Epoxy self levels so there is no need to move it around with any tools like most other epoxy products.

For most applications, UltraClear Epoxy is applied in two stages, the Seal Coat stage and the Flood Coat stage.
Seal Coat: The seal coat is a small batch of epoxy that is brushed on in a thin layer to seal any pores in the surface and prevent air bubbles from forming in the following flood coat. Our epoxy is used for both the seal coat and the flood coat. It is the same product that is applied to the surface with a paint brush.
Flood Coat: After waiting 4-6 hours from when the seal coat was applied, a flood coat is simply poured on the surface and it self-levels to 1/8" thick.
Side and Edges: When pouring over the Sides and Edges of a table, counter, or bar top, make sure that you purchase extra material to account for spillage over the sides as you will lose 30% of the material coating them.

This is my first time using the product or any epoxy for a project for that matter. I love the product I plan to use it on another project in the near future. I just wish I would have done a simple project first but otherwise looks great considering it was my first time. The next time I do a round table I will probably start in the center and work in the circular motion as I feel, I wasted too much.

This is my fourth project with UltraClear Epoxy. Great results. Very happy. Based on my past projects, the finish lasts and doesn’t discolor. Just follow the directions and you’ll get great results. One word of advice, take your time and you may need a second seal coat. Many woods are very porous and air bubbles can come up.

Used the bar top epoxy to coat my homemade bar top fabricated out of reclaimed lumber that I found on my property...I couldn’t be any happier/prouder of how it turned out! The only minor complaint is the cure time (72 hours) and the requirements of maintaining a room temp above 75 degrees for the duration of the cure time. Other than that, I highly recommend this product!!!

I didn’t need a whole gallon for my small epoxy project so this was just perfect. Worked and mixed great and I was extremely happy with my results.

My bathroom vanity is a wooden dresser that I had converted to a vanity about 15 years ago. At the time I had done an epoxy pour on the vanity top. I wanted to refinish the vanity in a driftwood finish. I sanded down the existing epoxy top, put on the driftwood finish which consisted of 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of base color, a dark brown paint with glaze, and white paint mixed with glaze. I put on 3 coats of water based polyacrylic varnish and I thought I was finished. However, I accidentally got a few drops of nail polish remover on it and messed up the finish. I wrote to the help expert on the site and he said I can fix that by putting on a new epoxy pour but first I would have to put on 3 coats of oil based varnish in order to make the epoxy stick, and paint on a thin coat of epoxy. I did that but when it dried, it had a million air bubbles. I thought I really messed it up now but then I sanded that down, did another brush on coat of epoxy and let that dry which took care of all those air bubbles. After that was dry, I did a pour on the countertop. I vanity top turned out beautifully It looks like I have a custom made piece of glass which fits perfectly around my sink! It is smooth as glass, easy to clean with just a damp cloth, and my coastal look bathroom looks awesome with the new driftwood finish and glassy vanity top!! Would definitely recommend this product.
