An Epoxy Resin Table or Countertop is any surface that has been given a clear epoxy resin coating. With an UltraClear Epoxy Resin kit you will be coating your surface in a 1/8” layer of resin. This will provide your surface with extreme clarity, scratch resistance, and easy maintenance for the lifetime of your surface. You can coat almost anything from wood surfaces, concrete, copper, stainless steel, laminate, formica, and many more!
What is an Epoxy Resin Table?
How To Make An Epoxy Resin Table?
We have numerous tutorial videos here. Our Table Top kits make it simple by providing you with both parts that you need for a resin top coat: Hardener and Resin, that can be mixed in a 1:1 ratio. We also provide you with measuring buckets with easy to read measurements, mixing tools, and other products to help finish the job, like a heat gun for popping bubbles, or silicone caulk for a temporary dam.
You can check out our Youtube Channel to see some more project videos and get ideas for your own tables or countertops! We also have a growing community on Instagram and Facebook where you can share your project photos and ask questions. Follow #UltraClearEpoxy to see more of us on sites like these.
What Kind of Epoxy Do I Need?
For epoxy wood tables, countertops, or any surface needing a clear resin coating, you need a commercial grade Table Top Resin. Buying your top coat products from a local hardware store may be tempting, but these kits often cure with a yellow or amber tint, and don’t stand up to the test of time. With our UltraClear Bar & TableTop kits you’ll have everything you need to get your project done right the first time.
You can also rest easy knowing our products have been used in restaurants and bars all over the United States for over 10 years. These types of businesses see more traffic on a day to day basis than any home ever could, so you know your surfaces will be safe with our products providing them with the ultimate protection.
How Much Do I Need?
Typically we recommend 1 Gallon for 16 square feet of surface area you’re trying to cover with a flood coat. For the seal coat stage, 1 gallon will cover roughly 48 square feet. If this is your first time making resin tables or epoxy countertops, we recommend contacting us via phone or email, for expert advice on your project. All we need is the basic information about your project and the dimensions to help get you started!
