Resin art is a diverse category
One of the first things you may notice as you view the gallery below is that there really is a lot of possibility with epoxy resin art.
In its simplest applications, epoxy merely provides a protective coating through which the colors of the substrate (i.e., the surface it bonds to) are made vivid—epoxy does a great job of enhancing the appearance of something that already looks good.
However, epoxy itself can also be used to make art. This is often seen in things like resin jewelry, epoxy tumblers, sculptures, epoxy coasters, and much more.
Epoxy resin can be tinted with deep or vibrant tones.
As part of their epoxy projects, many resin hobbyists will make use of epoxy colorants.
Though epoxy resin is naturally transparent, it can be infused with color through the use of epoxy powder pigments and liquid resin dyes.
These colorants are attractive ways to give a project a unique appearance and allow for epoxy to stand on its own as a beautiful work of art.
